Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes we do! We offer free, 15-minute phone consultations to clients who find us online. However, for in-office or in-depth consultations, we do charge a $100 consultation fee.
How much experience do you have?
Our attorneys have handled thousands of immigration matters, and have significant experience in resolving family law, criminal defense, and intellectual property cases for our current and former clients.
Specifically, we specialize in immigration and its intersection with other practice areas, such as criminal defense (“crimigration”), family law (SIJS and Virginia family law matters involving immigrants), and more.
We also handle personal injury and workers’ compensation matters, as well as provide a wide array of business registration and management services.
What are your hours?
Our normal operating hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on every weekday.
We also stay open until 8 p.m. on Tuesday nights to ensure that clients can still speak with a professional without having to worry about taking time off work.
Where are you located?
Our offices are located a little ways North-West of Richmond’s downtown area, near the University of Richmond. You can find a map with our specific location at the bottom of this page.
How much does it cost to hire you?
Our firm quotes rates on a case-by-case basis. We believe that there’s no such thing as one-size-fits-all legal representation, so it’s impossible to gauge how much your individual case will cost before hearing the details during your consultation.
Who will work on my case?
The attorney you hire will be the attorney that works on your case.
While our support staff will assist with general tasks such as affidafits, and act as a point of contact for any questions you might have, our attorneys take a personal approach to resolving each of their individual caseloads.
Will you keep me up to date on my case?
Of course! We recognize that any legal matter can be a frightening experience, so we’ve made a commitment to keep our clients as informed as possible about what’s happening in their case.
In addition to our policy of responding to every contact within one business day, you should also feel free to call our attorneys and paralegals for updates about your case as needed.
What’s the best way to contact you?
We handle most inquiries over the phone, so the “best” way to contact us is to call our office at (804) 477-1720.
If you’re more comfortable with an online form (or if you want to reach us outside of our normal business hours), please fill out the “Contact Us” form above.
